Libra Rising Antiques

A curated collection of
European and Russian 19th century through early 20th century art, antiques and intresting objects.

Bohemian glass, French, German and Russian porcelain, art, with a focus on work on paper, and unapologetically beautiful conversation pieces.

The curation process:

At Libra Rising, the selection process is deeply centered on my own personal values: freedom from trends, individuality, personal aesthetics, and the trust that instinct never lies— nothing makes it in unless it matters.

The reason why it’s so easy for me to connect with my clients is because we like the same things.

If it has been selected by me to be a part of the collection, and someone else responds to it the same way, I know that we speak the same language.

No matter what markets and sales dictate, there is only one true value – that it means something to you.. I want you to have what you are looking for, and if I don’t have it, then it’s going on my list.

I only source a fraction of the amount of items I go through. My inventory is limited, curated, and targeted. You will never see an overflow of items I don’t know anything about.

Everything is thoroughly researched and presented. If I have it for sale, it means I know what it is, down to the name of the paint color and what it’s worth.

The Obsessions

Every collection starts with an obsession.
The obsessions are: conversation pieces, beautiful objects with meaning, and intriguing objects with stories.
Maximalism and eccentricity are the language. Do you speak it?
Nothing is subtle.

FINE PORCELAIN

Ornate, fragile, opulent. White gold. Luxury for the few.

Unapologetically decadent. From Parisian whimsy to imperial elegance, these pieces were made to captivate.

I focus on the finest names in porcelain history — Sèvres, Limoges, Kuznetsov, Kornilov Brothers, Meissen, KPM.

They were made to impress.. Art at the table, and status on the shelf.

ANTIQUE SILVER

Romantic, moody, occasionally unhinged. Silver carries light, history, and just the right amount of drama. Tarnish? That’s patina.

I focus on pieces with character and heritage — Russian silver, Scandinavian design, and Italian craftsmanship.

Timeless, collectible, and always valuable. These aren’t just decorative—they’re part of a larger conversation between utility and beauty, past and present.

WALL ART

I collect primarily works on paper — watercolors, pen and ink, graphite, prints, painted porcelain, and embroidery.

I’m building a focused selection of art by women: from the 18th century silk embroidery to mid century lithographs.

The female figure appears often in this collection — not as muse, but as subject, symbol, and self.

A FEW SURPRISES

The irresistible, the impractical, the beautifully unnecessary. These are the objects that don’t fit into categories — and that’s exactly why they’re here.

Antique gaming and drinking sets, inkwells, tobacco boxes, — pieces meant to charm, provoke, or raise an eyebrow. Little luxuries that once lived in pockets, on desks, or behind locked cabinets.

They’re not essentials. They’re obsessions.

Signature Offerings

Not just antiques — experiences. Each item is a story, each package a ritual.
Here’s what sets Libra Rising apart.
